ISLAMABAD: The federal government on Thursday denied to make any amendments in weekly holidays.

Federal Minister of Information Fawad Hussain Chaudhary took to the twitter and reacted to rumours circulating on social media regarding any possible change in weekly holidays.

He wrote on the social networking site: No change in weekly holiday calendar is under consideration, all such rumours regarding change in this regard are baseless.

Earlier this week, reports started making rounds that the government was considering to make changes in the holiday calendar and decided to announce Friday as off day throughout the country as of Middle East countries.
