NAWABSHAH: Weather turned pleasant and cold after rain in Nawabshah, Larkana, Sukkur and other parts of Sindh on Wednesday.

Electricity supply went off just a few minutes before the rain hit.

According to Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), widespread rain-thunderstorm (with few moderate to isolated heavyfalls) is expected in Upper Khyber Paktunkhwa (Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Kohat & Mardan divisions), Upper Punjab (Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Lahore, Faisalabad divisions), Islamabad, Gilgit Baltistan and Kashmir,while at scattered places in Queta, Zhob, Kalat, Makran, Naseerabad, Sibbi.

Karachi, after witnessing winters first rain last week, is expected to receive some more rain over the next two days.

Todays lowest temperatures were recorded in Skardu -19C, Astore -16C, Bagrote, Kalam, Gupis -12C, Hunza -06C, Parachinar -05C, Dir, Malam Jabba -04C, Drosh, Rawalakot -03C, Mirkhani, Kakul -02C, Gilgit, Kamra, Chitral, Bunji -01C.
