LAHORE: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari met Nawaz Sharif at Kot Lakhpat jail today (Monday) and said that former premiere should be given the best medical care as he was very sick.

According to details, Bilawal inquired about Sharifs health along with other senior party leaders including Qamar Zaman Kaira, Mustafa Khokhar, Hassan Murtaza and Jameel Soomro.

While talking to journalists Bilawal rejected the speculations of any political move behind the meeting.

Got no impression that a deal has been made for the incarcerated former premier to leave the country, he added.

PPP chairman also called Finance Minister Asad Umar “a parha likha jahil” (educated fool) for criticising his speech in English on the floor of the National Assembly.

Last week, Bilawal had tweeted that the federal cabinet is not on the same page as Umar criticised his speech while Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi agreed with him.
