LAHORE: Now the passengers would get quality food products at reasonable prices at all railway stations but wont be able to travel without tickets.

The deputy superintendent of Pakistan Railways has ordered the authorities concerned to take measures to provide quality food at railway stations. He also directed to ensure availability of the food items at the government approved prices.

Deputy Superintendent Amir Nisar has directed to launch a crackdown against vendors found involved in overcharging and selling substandard food items at the railway stations.

The official also ordered a crackdown against passengers travelling without tickets.

He said that staff has been deployed to assist passengers at railway stations.
