ISLAMABAD: After tense situation between Islamabad and New Delhi, Pakistan has suspended countrywide flight operations on Wednesday.

According to sources, Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has suspended flight operations till Thursday night across country.

Railway stations have also been placed on red-alert amid terrorist attack threats.

Earlier today, the DG ISPR wrote on the social networking site: In response to PAF strikes this morning as released by MoFA, IAF crossed LoC. PAF shot down two Indian aircraft inside Pakistani airspace.

One of the aircraft fell inside AJ&K while other fell inside IOK. One Indian pilot arrested by troops on ground while two in the area, added Ghafoor.
