KARACHI: Doctors at the government hospitals across Sindh have gone on strike over non-acceptance of their demands regarding increase in pay and allowances.

As per details, various Outpatient-Departments (OPD) at the government-run hospitals have been closed down.

All the OPDs in Karachi’s major hospitals including JPMC, Civil Hospital and District Headquarters hospitals across the province are not attending patients.

The doctors maintained that if their demands were not met within a period of three days, the emergency departments and the wards of the hospitals will also be closed down.
