ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan will chair a meeting of the National Security Council (NSC) here today.
The meeting will be attended by federal and state ministers for finance, defence, foreign affairs, interior, intelligence chiefs and other senior security officials.
The Pulwama attack, and situation arising after it will be discussed in the meeting, sources said.
The council will also discuss on-going case of Indian spy Kulbhushan Jadhav which is currently being prosecuted in the International Court of Justice (ICJ), sources added.
Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman’s recent visit and the peace process in Afghanistan will also be a part of meeting’s agenda, sources further added.
The senior civil military leadership will also review the overall security situation of the country in the meeting, sources added.
