DUBAI: Kieron Pollard and Umar Amin took Peshawar Zalmi home in a comfortable 172 run-chase in the 19th match of the fourth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL-4) played at the Dubai Cricket Stadium on Thursday.

Batting first Multan had set 172-run target for Sultans. In response, Zalmi chased down the target in 19.2 over by losing three wickets.

Shahid Afridi, Muhammad Ilyas and Muhammad Irfan took one wicket each in the match.

Imamul Haq and Fletcher provided a strong start to Zalmi after opener Kamran Akmal’s departure on duck.

Peshawar Zalmi had won the toss and elected to bowl first against Multan Sultans.

Zalmi had defeated Sultans in the first round of the league by five wickets.
