DUBAI: Multan Sultans defeated Islamabad United by five wickets in the fourth match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) at Dubai International Cricket Stadium today (Saturday).
While chasing a target of 126 runs, Sultans reached home with eight balls to spare.
Sultans skipper Shoaib Malik led from the front with a crucial unbeaten knock of 31 runs. For United, leg-spinner Shadab Khan claimed two wickets.
Earlier United posted 125-7 in their allotted 20 overs, after Sultans won the toss and elected to field first.
In the second game of the day, Lahore Qalandars will take on Karachi Kings.
