BHIRIA CITY: The report identifying the causes of death of a rooster has been issued on Tuesday which will be presented before the court tomorrow.

According to police, Naushehro Feroze’s poultry protection officer has submitted a detailed report that identifies the cause of cockerel’s death.

The rooster died of Newcastle disease, identifies the report.

A day earlier, a local court ordered to probe the suspicious death of a rooster in police custody.

Two days earlier, police had captured a rooster during a raid when cockerel fight being organised in Bhiria City.

The rooster was mentioned in case property in an FIR registered by police and was died in inventory room.

First Civil Judge & Judicial Magistrate of a local court in Bhiria City has ordered police to submit a postmortem report which identifies the causes of cockerels death.

Station House Officer Inspector Nadir Bhatti informed media that rooster died of a natural disease.

Poultry protection officer of Bhiria city confirmed that he has received a letter to conduct postmortem of the cockerel. A report will be submitted to court in this regard, he added.
