KARACHI: Sindh Local Government minister Saeed Ghani on Thursday has inaugurated the plantation drive at Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Park, Karachi.
Addressing the media after inaugurating plantation drive Saeed Ghani said, Sindh government has started work to clean and green 200 parks in Karachi.
“Sindh government is working with international organisations to provide clean environment to people of Sindh,” he added.
Taking a jibe at Railway Minister he said that Sheikh Rasheed should pay more attention towards his ministry rather becoming a NAB’s spokesperson.
The local government minister said that the first 100 days performance of his department not impressed him much.
“Not happy with the performance of my department,” said Saeed Ghani.
Saeed Ghani said that he had summoned record to check the performance of local government departments of Sindh.
Commenting over the water scarcity issue in Karachi, the minister said the matter will resolve in the metropolis till March next year, adding that due to Lack of water in Hub Dam has raised water crisis in Karachi.
He said that National Accountability Bureau (NAB) interference has halted development projects in Sindh.
