ISLAMABAD: Pakistan on Monday called its high commissioner from India for consultations after New Dehli had recalled its diplomat from Islamabad last week.

“We have called back our High Commissioner in India for consultations. He left New Delhi this morning,” Foreign Office spokesperson Dr Mohammad Faisal tweeted.

The tension between the two countries had heightened after the Pulwama attack in which 44 Indian soldiers were killed.
