RAWALPINDI: Two Pakistani civilians including a woman embraced martyrdom while four others sustained injuries in unprovoked Indian firing along the Line of Control (LoC).

According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), Indian troops resorted to unprovoked fire in Chakothi Sector along Line of Control( LOC), targeting the civilian population. Two civilians including a woman embraced Shahadat, while four were injured.

Those who were martyred have been identified as Ghulam Hussain resident of Village Bakot and Noushad Bibi wife of Abdul Rehman and resident of Soka Village.

Raja Mehmood resident of Darang More, Zahida Bibi resident of Bari Bhaik, Ghulam Muhammad and Muhammad Zakir resident of Village Bakot were injured in the Indian firing, the ISPR said.

Pakistan army troops responded effectively targeting Indian post which initiated fire, the statement added.
