ISLAMABAD: The 14th death anniversary of the deceased people of the deadly earthquake of October 8, 2005, is being observed today (Tuesday) in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) and other parts of the country.

As per details, a quake jolted the parts of AJK Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) at 8:52 am on October 8, 2005.

That was one of the biggest natural calamities of the globe’s and measured 8.1 on the Richter Scale killing 86,000 humans and injuring 69,000 others in the process.

This day is being observed to pay tribute to the people who lost their lives in the horrific incident.
