LAHORE: An Accountability Court on Wednesday extended the judicial remand of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Maryam Nawaz and Yousuf Abbas in a case pertaining to Chaudhry Sugar Mills till October 25.
According to details, AC Judge Chaudhry Ameer Muhammad Khan conducted the hearing where Maryam Nawaz and Yousuf Abbas were presented before the court upon the completion of their previous 14-day remand.
As the hearing went underway, the court questioned the attorney of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) that when will the reference be filed?
To which, the NAB attorney told the court that the reference is in the final process and will be filed after the approval of the Chairman of the anti-graft body.
However, the court after hearing the arguments extended the judicial remand of Maryam Nawaz and Yousuf Abbas and adjourned the hearing till October 25.
