ISLAMABAD: Accountability Court on Monday extended the judicial remand of the former President Asif Ali Zardari and his sister Faryal Talpur during the hearing of a case pertaining to Fake Bank Accounts and Park Lane Company Scam till September 5.

According to details, both PPP leaders were produced before the court as the previously granted remand was ended where the accused siblings pleaded for provision of extra facilities.

As the hearing went underway, Accountability Court Judge Muhammad Bashir instructed the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to provide copies of the money laundering case to the accused and adjourned the hearing till September 5.

However, the court will hear on extra facilities plea of the accused tomorrow but directed that there is no need to produce both PPP leaders in tomorrow’s hearing.
