LAHORE: Accountability Court on Thursday extended the judicial remand of former federal Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique and his brother Khawaja Salman Rafique in a case pertaining to the Paragon Housing Society scam, till July 11.

Khawaja Salman Rafique was produced before the Accountability Court as his previously granted 14 days remand was ended today. However, the co-accused and Salmans brother wasnt produced in the court as he is in Islamabad for some other engagements.

Accountability Courts judge Syed Najam-ul-Hassan heard a case pertaining to the ongoing probe of the Paragon Housing Scheme in which both of the PML-N leaders were detained by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) back in 2018.

The court after a short hearing extended the judicial remand of Khawaja Saad and Salman Rafique and adjourned the hearing till July 11.

National Accountability Bureau (NAB) officials produced Khawaja Salman Rafique before the court as the previous judicial remand was expired today.
