LAHORE: Accountability Court on Thursday extended the judicial remand of former federal Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique and his brother Khawaja Salman Rafique in a case pertaining to the Paragon Housing Society scam, till May 2.
National Accountability Bureau (NAB) officials produced the Khawaja Saad Rafique and his brother before the court as the previous judicial remand was expired today.
Earlier on April 14, accountability court on extended judicial remand of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leaders Khawaja Saad Rafique and his brother Salman Rafique for another 14 days in the Paragon Housing Society scam.
The Khawaja brothers were presented before the court as their judicial remand ended today. The court then granted a 14-day extension in their judicial.
Speaking to media outside the court he said, In Naya Pakistan, there is nothing for poverty-stricken people.
Khawaja brothers were arrested by the anti-graft body after Lahore High court rejected their petition on interim bail rejected.
Rafique is accused of holding major shares in Paragon City, however, he denies this and says he only owns a few houses and land in the society.
