SUKKUR: An Accountability Court on Monday extended the physical remand of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Syed Khursheed Shah for another six days.
As per details, PPP leader Syed Khursheed Shah was produced before the court upon the completion of his previously granted physical remand.
As the hearing went underway, PPP leader Khursheed told the court that the NAB authorities have identified two accounts which were opened to collect funds for the IDPs by the parliamentarians and the amount was withdrawn from it with the signatures of co-account holder and Federal Minister Fehmida Mirza.
At which, the court asked the NAB officials that did they inducted Federal Minister Fehmida Mirza into the probe, by adding that it seems like that the anti-graft body is unaware of the situation.
PPP leader Khursheed Shah told the court that the court can send him to a remand of three-months as he is a respectable politician and the probe is hurting him and his image.
The court by hearing the arguments of both parties extended the judicial remand of senior PPP leader by six days and adjourned the cases hearing.
