ISLAMABAD: Accountability Court on Monday extended the physical remand of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) women-wing president Faryal Talpur in cases pertaining to Fake Bank Accounts and Mega Money Laundering Scam till July 29.
As the hearing went underway the former president Asif Ali Zardari and his sister Faryal Talpur were produced before the Accountability Court and their attendances were marked.
During the hearing the counsel of both PPP leader, Farooq H. Naek pleaded the court to let him allow meeting his clients which was accepted by the court.
On the other hand, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) requested to extend the remand of PPP women wing president Faryal Talpur. The court by accepting the plea extended the physical remand of the accused till July 29.
