ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi on Saturday said that India can resort to any sort of misadventure in its attempt to world’s attention from Kashmir issue but the armed forces and Pakistani nation are prepared for any aggression by the neighbours.
Talking to a joint press briefing with Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Asif Ghafoor and Special Assistant to Prime Minister (SAPM) on Information and Broadcasting Firdous Ashiq Awan following a meeting with country’s top brass on Kashmir issue Qureshi said that it is widely possible that India can resort to any misadventure to divert world attention from Kashmir dispute.
He said, “Pakistan has achieved a milestone on diplomatic fronts and the Kashmir dispute was raised on a forum after fifty years which is responsible for solving it.”
“The country’s top brass also discussed on future plan as this is just the beginning and we have to fight this long battle on several other fronts,” he added.
“We [country’s top-brass] have agreed that Modi’s extremist philosophy has murdered Nehru’s ideology of forming a secular state,” he further added.
“The Foreign Ministry has decided to form a Kashmir cell in its headquarter while Kashmir desks will be established in every major embassy of the country globally,” he concluded.
