LAHORE: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Wednesday has launched an inquiry against a member of the Punjab Assembly Ghazanfar Abbas Cheena for allegedly amassing assets disproportionate to his sources of income.
According to sources, the corruption watchdog has obtained important record about the lawmakers assets. The inquiry is said to have been launched following approval from the bureaus executive board.
Earlier, NAB had arrested PTI leader Aleem Khan on February 05 in assets beyond means case.
The corruption watchdog had alleged that the PTI leader has established multiple companies in UAE and Britain. The bureau said that it was further probing into these companies.
