ISLAMABAD: The federal government on Monday decided to form an authority to look after the affairs of the China-Pak Economic Corridor (CPEC).
As per details, a draft has been prepared and sent to the President Dr Arif Alvi for approval due the delay in the sessions of the National Assembly and the Senate.
The committee will be chaired by the PM Imran Khan and will be compromised on 10 members including a CEO who will be a grade 20 civil servant.
However, the other members of the authority will be selected for a term of four years and determine the areas of cooperation in the CPEC.
