ISLAMABAD: Election Commission on Thursday dismissed a plea seeking to take action against Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah.

A two-member bench headed by Punjabs Altaf Qureshi of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) heard on a plea filed against Murad Ali Shah.

As the hearing went underway, the two-member bench of the ECP dismissed the plea filed by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) lawmaker Haleem Adil Sheikh.

Haleem Adil, in its plea, requested the ECP to take action against Sindh CM and others for violating terms and conditions of the election.

The plea was binned because of the absence of the petitioner from the hearing.
