ISLAMABAD: Federal Cabinets sub-committee on Wednesday granted conditional permission to the former premier Nawaz Sharif to go abroad for the period of four weeks.

Talking to media, Federal Law Minister Farogh Naseem said, The former premier can go abroad for tenure of four weeks.

The decision was taken in the light of current health condition of Nawaz Sharif, he added.

We have completed all the formalities and an official order will be issued later today, he further added.

After reviewing the medical reports we came to know that the matter is utterly serious and we have decided to let him leave abroad, however, the tenure is extendable depending on the situation, he said.

However, Nawaz or Shahbaz Sharif will have to submit an indemnity bond of Rs7 billion to avail the privilege, he concluded.
