LARKANA: Sindh government on Wednesday initiated arrangements to form first-ever Police Cadet College of the province in Larkana district.
According to sources, the process has for the formation of first-ever Police Cadet College has been started by the provincial government and to facilitate the construction the authorities have acquired 60-acre land.
The land acquired by the police was occupied by land grabbers and was vacated by the department. The police officials then immediately requested the provincial to grant that land for constructing country first-ever Police Cadet College.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Masood Bangash has confirmed the recent development in this regard and confirmed that the land was acquired near Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Medical University Larkana.
The Larkana’s police chief also termed it as a massive success of the department and informed the press that they have requested for provision of funds to the government.
