ISLAMABAD: The federal government on Monday decided to detain Maulana Fazlur Rahman and other senior leaders of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazal (JUI-F) if the ongoing talks to cancel the expected Azadi March will fail.

As per details, the federal government in a high-level meeting has decided that the expected sit-in of the JUI-F in the federal capital will be stopped at all costs even if the authorities have to detain top leadership of the party including its chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman.

According to sources, the JUI-F chief might be detained in his house before the expected sit-in on 31 October.
