ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to Prime Minister for Political Affairs Naeem-ul-Haq on Friday said that the government has allowed the former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to go abroad for his treatment.

In a statement, Haq said, Nawaz is severely ill, we have witnessed his reports and every Pakistani has the right to get a treatment from where ever he wants.

The government has no objection in allowing Nawaz to go abroad for treatment, the court has to decide on the matter, he further added.

Only the court can decide on the tenure of his stay abroad, concluded Naeem.
