QUETTA: The Hazara community announced to end their sit-in on late Monday at the western bypass following successful talks with the minister of state for interior and Balochistan’s chief minister.
The minister reached Quetta earlier in the day to hold talks with the protesting Hazara community members.
Afridi assured the Hazara community, We are standing shoulder-by-shoulder with you in every difficulty and trial.
The protestors of the minority Hazara community were protesting from the last four days and had vowed to carry on with their sit-in until higher authorities give them assurance of their protection.
Earlier on Friday, at least 20 people got killed including eight belonging to Hazara community and more than 60 persons sustained severe injuries after a bomb went off in a fruit market in Hazarganji of the city.
