ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Tuesday barred Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) from arresting Nasser Janjua, main accused of Judge Arshad Malik video scandal.

According to details, Nasser Janjua in a plea filed in the IHC pleaded the court to grant him a protective bail amid the fear of arrest in Judge Arshad Malik Video Scandal Case. The Federal Government and Judge Arshad Malik were made parties in the case.

As the hearing went underway, Acting Chief Justice IHC Justice Amir Farooq by wrapping up the case ordered the petitioner to contact the relative forum till tomorrow.

The IHC by accepting the plea of the accused granted him a protective bail till July 31.
