ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) to hear on a plea seeking to release the former premier and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo on bail today (Friday).
As per details, the IHC will hear on a plea seeking to release former premier Nawaz Sharif on bail while the court has also summoned MS Services Hospital Lahore and other parties of the case in this regard.
A day earlier, President PML-N Shehbaz Sharif filed a petition in the IHC seeking to release his elder brother and former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on bail.
The PML-N president Shehbaz Sharif had filed a plea in the IHC seeking to release his elder brother on bail due to his deteriorating health.
Shehbaz had pleaded the court that his brother is severely ill and is suffering from several diseases and he should be allowed to have his treatment from Pakistan or abroad on humanitarian grounds.
He had also pleaded the court to nullify his sentence in Al-Azizia reference.
