MANCHESTER: Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan said that the news of senior lawyer Hamid Khan excusing himself from representing Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf in the Panama Leaks case, took him by surprise.
Speaking to the media at Manchester Airport, the PTI Chairman said: “Don’t know how media pressure mounted up on Hamid Khan,” he added, “we would accept decision of the Supreme Court, even if it’s against us”.
He said that it’s the first time in history that the country`s chief executive is present before the courts for his accountability.
The PTI chief further added that in the Panama Leaks case, the burden of proof is on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, not on his party.
