New Delhi: Indias Union Minister Surinder Singh Ahluwalia has finally admitted to the fact that there were no casualties in Balakot as the country’s strikes by jets were just a warning.

In an interview with an Indian television channel, the minister said: The air strikes by India were just a warning.

Neither Prime Minister Narendra Modi nor any government spokesperson had given any figure on casualty of air strikes, said Ahluwalia. Rather, it was the Indian media and social media where the unconfirmed figures of terrorists killed were being calculated.

Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has said earlier the Indian government would not share proof that a very large number of militants were reportedly killed in the Balakot air strikes on February 26.

The Indian ministers statement has confirmed the doubts over IAF strikes in Balakot and casualties.
