SRI NAGAR: Indian Authorities on Monday locked down Occupied Kashmir and imposed a curfew for an indefinite period in the valley.

According to Kashmir media service, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) led Indian government has locked down several Hurriyat leaders in their homes including two former chief ministers and deployed thousands of additional troops in the valley.

The authorities have also seized various key roads of the valley and suspended communications services in the valley.

On the other hand, the authorities have also ordered to shut schools, colleges and other educational institutes of the valley while also postponed scheduled examinations in the Indian occupied Kashmir (IoK).
