MUZAFFARABAD: A huge number of Kashmiris on the call of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) on Sunday are marching towards the Line of Control (LoC).

The rally labeled as “Freedom March” is protesting against Indias move of revoking special status granted to Occupied Kashmir.

The Freedom March is organized by the JKLF which is headed by the Hurriyat leader Yasin Malik who is in incarceration for the past couple of months.

The protesters gathered at AJKs capital Muzaffarabad plan to cross the LoC to Srinagar, the capital of the Indian occupied Kashmir.

A day earlier, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that he totally understands the anguish of the people of Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK) but anyone crossing the Line of Control (LoC) from AJK to provide humanitarian aid or support for Kashmiri struggle will play into the hands of the Indian narrative.

PM Imran took to Twitter and advised the people of Azad Kashmir to avoid maligning Pakistans name on the global level as it will only endorse Indian narrative.

He wrote on his timeline; I understand the anguish of the Kashmiris in AJK seeing their fellow Kashmiris in IOJK under an inhumane curfew for over 2 months.

But anyone crossing the LoC from AJK to provide humanitarian aid or support for Kashmiri struggle will play into the hands of the Indian narrative, he added.

In another tweet, he said, A narrative that tries to divert from the indigenous Kashmiris struggle against brutal Indian Occupation by trying to label it as Islamic terrorism being driven by Pakistan.

It will give India an excuse to increase the violent oppression of Kashmiris in IOJK & attack across LoC, he concluded.
