SRINAGAR: On Sunday, Kashmiris living on both sides of Line of Control (LOC) and the world over are observing Black Day today to condemn the illegal occupation of Jammu and Kashmir State by Indian forces.
Today marks the 72nd anniversary of Indian occupation in Kashmir valley.
It was on 27th October 1947 when Indian troops landed in Srinagar in sheer violation of international law and division plan of united India.
In Azad Kashmir, protest rallies and demonstrations will be held at all districts and Tehsil headquarters to mark the day.
In Occupied Kashmir, the joint Hurriyat leadership has given call for complete shutdown to mark the day. Black flags will be hoisted everywhere in the occupied valley.
