Lahore: An accountability court here extended the judicial remand of Khawaja Saad Rafique and Khawaja Salman Rafiq till April 04 on Tuesday.

Accountability court in Lahore heard the Paragon Housing Society cass and jail officials submitted the application of Khawaja Saad Rafique in the court. On which the court inquired that the National Assembly’s session is not running so why he is in Islamabad.
He is in Islamabad to attend the meeting of Standing Committee on Law and Justice, the officials replied.

The court then asked why the final report regarding the Paragon Housing Society case was not presented. The officials should inform about the final report on the next hearing, the judge said.

The court extended the judicial remand of Aleem Khan by 15 days and ordered to present him on April 04.

Rafique is accused of holding major shares in Paragon City, however, he denies this and says he only owns a few houses and land in the society.
