LONDON: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) founder Altaf Hussain was arrested in London on Thursday following an indictment in a case pertaining to hate speech.

As per details, MQM chief appeared in a local police station of London upon the expiry of his bail where he failed to answer the questions asked by the authorities for the third consecutive time.

According to sources, the London police have advised the MQM-chief to answer the questions and upon his failure to answer the questions he was indicted in the case related to hate speech.

It is pertinent to mention here that following the indictment of Altaf Hussain the trial may take a couple of weeks in completion.
