ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) on Sunday served notices to various TV channels for an unedited live telecast of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Maryam Nawaz’s press conference.

According to the notice, the presser was against judiciary and state institutions in violation of PRMRAs Code of Conduct.

It is pertinent to mention here that Maryam Nawaz in a press conference presented a piece of video evidence against Accountability Courts Judge Arshad Malik in which he is confessing before PML-N leader that he was under pressure to declare former premier Nawaz an offender.

On the other hand, the Special Adviser to Prime Minister (SAPM) Firdous Ashiq Awan has declared the video an attempt to blackmail the institutions and said that there should be a forensic audit of the matter.
