ISLAMABAD: An earthquake jolted parts of the federal capital, Rawalpindi, Peshawar and other areas here on Thursday.

According to reports, a 5.2 magnitude earthquake jolted parts of Islamabad, Murree, Rawalpindi, Swat, Mohmand, Charsadda, Shabqadar and other parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) where panic spread among the people after the quake.

According to the Met Office, the epicenter of an earthquake was located near Koh-e-Hindu Kush region.

However, no damage to property, life was reported.
