Karachi: Former president Asif Ali Zardari and his sister Faryal Talpur on Saturday challenged the banking courts decision to transfer the money laundering case to Rawalpindi.

Earlier, the Pakistan Peoples Party Co-chairman along with his sister reached the Sindh High Court and filed a petition challenging banking courts decision which is issued a day earlier through their lawyers.

In their petition, the former president and his sister prayed that the banking courts order to transfer the case is illegal and requested to declare the decision null and void.
A day earlier, banking court issued orders the transfer of the fake bank accounts and mega money laundering case to Islamabad.

Following the order, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has summoned Zardari and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on March 20.
