ISLAMABAD: Co-Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and the former president Asif Ali Zardari has been arrested by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) in another reference pertaining to the Park Lane Company following his previous arrest in fake bank accounts case here on Monday.

According to sources within anti-graft watchdog, the detained former president has been arrested in another reference by the NAB Rawalpindi.

The former president is accused of buying 2,460 canals of land in Islamabad.

The lands actual worth is Rs2 billion while it was bought by the former president for an amount of Rs620 million.

It is pertinent to mention here that the former presidents son and PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is also nominated in the said reference.
