LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) aide, Khawaja Saad Rafique and his brother arrested from Lahore High Court (LHC) on Tuesday as the court dismissed their pleas seeking pre-arrest bail from the court against National Accountability Court (NAB) arrest order in Paragon Housing Scheme scam.

Saad Rafique, Salman Rafique today appeared before the court.

The anti-graft body had launched a probe against Rafique and his brother in the Paragon Housing Society scam. The two brothers had moved the Islamabad High Court to provide a protective bail which the latter had rejected and advised the petitioners to approach the LHC.

Today, a two-judge LHC bench headed by Justice Tariq Abbasi heard the petition of the brothers seeking an extension in their interim bail. Initially, the court extended their interim bail till December 13, however, the bench later rejected their petitions.
