ISLAMABAD: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Monday claimed a major breakthrough in the ongoing probe of fake bank accounts case against the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) co-chairman and former president Asif Ali Zardari, his sister Faryal Talpur and others co-accused.

According to sources, Nasser Abdullah Lootah who is a Dubai resident and member of Summit Bank Board of Directors has agreed to become an approver in the case.

Further, the NAB has also suspended the arrest warrant of Nasser Abdullah Lootah after his agreement to become an approver.

Earlier today, Accountability Court extended the judicial remand of the former President Asif Ali Zardari and his sister Faryal Talpur during the hearing of a case pertaining to Fake Bank Accounts and Park Lane Company Scam till September 5.
