KARACHI: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Monday completed its probe against the Sindh Assembly Speaker Agha Siraj Durrani in the assets beyond known source of income case.
NAB Karachi region has asked the anti-graft body’s chairman Justice (R) Javed Iqbal to file a reference in the case against Sindh Assembly Speaker.
Durrani who is being investigated in three cases pertaining to possessing assets beyond known source of income, illegal appointments and embezzlement of funds was arrested by NAB on February 20 from a private hotel in Islamabad.
Earlier on April 24, The Sindh High Court (SHC) has ordered the NAB to wrap up the ongoing investigations against Sindh Assembly Speaker Agha Siraj Durrani within four weeks.
The court after a short hearing ordered anti-graft watchdog to wrap up all the investigations against the Sindh Speaker Agha Siraj Durrani in four weeks.
