KARACHI: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Monday initiated their investigations against Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Khursheed Shah for owning assets afar from his known sources of income.

According to sources, NAB Sukkur region has started making contacts with other institutions for seeking the details in this regard.

Shah’s son and son-in-law have also been included in the investigations, sources added.

In the past two years NAB has initiated probes against various other PPP leaders but the investigations were never completed till date, sources further added.

Investigations against former law minister of Sindh Zia-ul-Hassan Lanjar, Manzoor Wassan, Aijaz Jakhrani, Nawaz Wassan, Rauf Khoso, Dr Sohrab Sarki, former provincial minister of interior Sohail Anwar Siyal and Dr Abdul Sattar Rajpar were not completed either, sources concluded.
