ISLAMABAD: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Wednesday approved an inquiry against Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader and Member National Assembly (MNA) Syed Khursheed Shah.
In a statement issued by the anti-graft body, a high-level meeting was chaired by the NAB chairman Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal in which he approved to initiate inquiries against several personalities.
According to the statement, Chairman NAB has approved to initiate inquiries against PPP’s Khursheed Shah and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Sardar Mehtab Abbasi.
On the other hand, the NAB has also decided to shut its ongoing inquiry against former federal minister Tanvir-ul-Hassan Gilani.
Chairman NAB on this occasion said that the anti-graft body is fully committed on its mission of forming a corruption-free Pakistan.
