KARACHI: In a bizarre development on Wednesday it has been revealed that Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Syed Khursheed Shah possess assets worth Rs500 billion.

National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has acquired details of Benami assets, bank accounts and alleged frontmen of the PPP leader.

As per details, the anti-graft body has acquired the details of as much as 105 bank accounts of Khursheed Shah and his family in different cities of the country.

The NAB authorities have revealed that the PPP leader made as much as 83 properties on the name of his alleged front man Pehlaj Mal in Karachi, Sukkur, Rohri and other cities.

According to a document acquired by Sindh Post, it has also been surfaced that Pehlaj never filed any tax returns for assets of billions he possessed since 2015 and was a common shopkeeper before shaking hands with the former opposition leader.

However, three other frontmen of the PPP leader were also discovered during the investigations against Khursheed Shah named as Ijaz Palh, Aftab Soomro and Lado Mal.

The anti-graft body has also revealed that the former opposition leader also allotted land of Cardio Institute on the name of one of his front men.

On the other hand, the NAB authorities also acquired information about another key frontman of the former opposition leader who is identified as Umar Jan.

The authorities revealed that Khursheeds bomb-proof vehicle is registered in the name of Umar while the formers house in Islamabad is also registered of latters name.

Khursheed Shah also allotted tenders of several projects to Jans company.

The authorities have also acquired the details, of Khursheeds assets including petrol pumps, residential schemes, shops and land.
