KARACHI: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Monday revealed that the anti-graft body has found some more proofs against Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Sharjeel Inam Memon that besides causing a loss to the finances of the province he also caused a loss to the national exchequer.
According to reports reaching here, the NAB has traced assets worth Rs2.3 billion in its ongoing probe against the former Sindh Minister for Information in assets beyond the mean case.
The sources within the NAB has revealed that the former provincial minister holds assets beyond his known source of income and is failed to satisfy the authorities of the anti-graft body during the investigations.
On the other hand, the NAB has prepared to file another reference against the PPP leader.
It is pertinent to mention here that Sharjeel Inam Memon is under probe in a corruption reference of an amount Rs5.76 billion and is in the prison for the past 20 months.
