KARACHI:National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Karachi has also sent recommendations for a supplementary reference to be filed against Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Kamran Michael and an inquiry to be launched in Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) corruption case.
As per details, NAB has sent its recommendations to chairman anti-graft watchdog for filing a supplementary reference against PML-N leader Kamran Michael and an inquiry to be launched in cases pertaining to embezzlement charges in the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA).
NAB would file a reference against the PML-N after the approval of chairman Justice (r) Javed Iqbal in the case.
Kamran Michael is being probed under graft charges of Rs110 million. PIA administration inflicted loss of millions to the national exchequer by grounding ATR planes illegally. PIA instead of repairing the plans made an illegal agreement with the private logistics company and made millions through kick backs.
